Here is my advice to you regarding a new name or stage name. Choose your name carefully, make it a decent first name, easy to remember and not "cutesy" Make your first name something rememberable and easy to spell, but not something like a pornstar name...
Make your last name.... Plain. Like the first street you can remember living on, the first town..... Simple and plain, street names are usually plain....

If you would like to make money using this name, you can do this legally usually for a reasonable price. Yes, there is actually a way Susie Cool can collect a check made out to “Susie Cool”. Here are 2 examples:
Dba, Doing Business AS, this is available usually at your local county government center, or City Hall. It’s a simple piece of paper that says you are going to be doing business under this name. Here, in Clark County, its about $40.
Or
Incorporate your name, its now the name of your business, Susie Cool, Inc. This is easily done with just a little paperwork and can even be done on-line in many states. 2 States that are beneficial to incorporate in; Delaware and Nevada, both states offer great benefits and you don't have to live in the state to incorporate there.
Next, Visit the IRS on-line and apply for a EIN number. this is a Social security type number for companies. Online EIN Application http://www.irs.gov/businesses/small/article/0,,id=98350,00.html, just click on that link and you will soon be almost ready to go.
Once you get your Corporation papers or DBA and your EIN number from the IRS, go to the bank, open an account in Susie Cool, Inc's name. Now you can take payments in the name of Susie Cool. You are the official corporate representative and can present yourself as Susie Cool, anywhere you want. You can get credit cards with the name Susie Cool, etc.
One Drawback will be official identification with picture id, required by some parties. You will still have to produce your real ID for some releases.
